BIOGRAPHY

JACOB MELAMED
Jacob Melamed is a Director and Writer who makes all genres of short films and documentaries. He is particularly interested in mental health and the human condition.
​
Jacob believes that personal experience and upbringing are the main centers of inspiration in making a believable and enjoyable film. He knows that by harnessing past experiences, he is able to create a greater sense of empathy and enjoyment within the viewer.
​
Jacob has created both drama and comedy short films that have been screened at various international film festivals.
Jacob holds a bachelor in Media production from UNSW and a Graduate Certificate in Directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School
